I'm Verlie Kennedy, with over 27 years experience in Remedial Massage, I fulfil my love and passion for integrated body work. Quite often the solution to a problem, comes from many sources, not just one. By combining several modalities, such as Low Intensity Laser Therapy to ease tight, stiff and restricted muscles and the truly remarkable Bowen Therapy that addresses restricted fascia, I find my clients get longer lasting benefits from their appointment, and with better results.
I am accredited with the Australian Traditional Medical Society for Remedial Massage Therapy and am a Health Fund provider.
I worked at the Active Leisure Centre in Erindale, Canberra, for 6 years, where I helped establish the Active Massage Clinic. I also ran a successful, thriving Therapy Clinic at the Gowrie Shopping Centre while also working as a body therapist at the Multiple Sclerosis Society of the ACT, on a part time basis for 10 years. In 2007, I relocated the clinic to the amazing Mpowerdome complex in the southern suburbs of Canberra.
Now operating from a busy, multi disciplined clinic at Embodying Health in Mawson, I offer effective, remedial treatments tailored to each patient's particular requirements. My clinic specialises in Low Intensity Laser Therapy, and I focus on providing my clients with professional, expert care to ensure that you leave feeling at your best.
