I'm finally comfortable re-introducing these lovely facials back into the clinic. I use a visible red light cold laser which stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which is followed by face massage which includes acupressure points and bowen therapy to release tight and sticky fascia around the muscles. So very calming and relaxing as well! I'm offering a special deal at the moment, so its a wonderful time to try my special treatment facial. Your skin will glow and and look smoother, and there is no pain! Cold or Low Intensity Laser doesn't generate heat. These facials are also beneficial for sinus conditions, puffy eyes, scars and headaches. Go to Wrinkles for more information. Book Now on 0417 672 252. Veronica is a Dachsund, which means she's prone to back issues like slipped discs (see the story of Jess). By using gentle muscle and fascial release work before injuries occur, focus can be shifted to health maintenance and prevention, to ease tight stiff muscles around her back and hips, lessening tension on her spine and joints. Its so much easier to prevent an injury than to try and fix it.
Canberra's Emmett 4 Dogs Practitioner. If your struggling with low back pain, you will instinctively want to rub your lumbar area or try and stretch out your entire back. Sometimes though, lower back issues can be caused by tight hamstrings, the muscles on the back of your upper leg. Desk workers for example, sit for great lengths of time so the hamstrings are restricted (shortened) for long periods of time as well. Every now and then, while you are seated, stretch one leg out in front of you, point your foot in the direction of the ceiling, and with a straight back, slowly bend forward and feel the stretch up the back of your leg. You can improve the stretch by placing a tennis ball or rolled up hand towel under your hamstring as well. Make sure you do both legs. With all of your best efforts, sometimes you still need a pair of remedial hands to ease out those tight muscles so that you can get the full effect of your stretching.

There's a lot you can do for your body health by learning some self massage techniques. At the end of a long, hard day, one of the easiest, relaxing techniques you can do is roll a ball under your foot for a few minutes. You don't need a special nodule ball, a tennis ball works well. A golf ball looks the right size but can be quite painful when you apply pressure. Not only does it ease tension in your foot muscles, it helps stimulate reflex points on the bottom of your feet. |
